Recipe: Simple, Green Sanitizing Spray made with three common kitchen ingredients
Here's a simple, green sanitizing spray that's safe for all surfaces.
While there is no substitute for soap and water, this simple sanitizing spray is a chemical-free, all-purpose disinfectant, which can be used on absolutely anything.
RECIPE:
1 1/2 cups tap water
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup vodka or any clear alcohol of at least 70 proof
12-20 drops essential oil (optional)
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup vodka or any clear alcohol of at least 70 proof
12-20 drops essential oil (optional)
* rubbing alcohol may be used instead of vodka and is actually a more effective disinfectant but might cause an adverse reaction in anyone with chemical sensitivity, so use with caution.
