4-7-8 BREATHING TECHNIQUE AND PRACTICE

The 4-7-8 breathing technique and practice is an amazing breathwork or pranayama practice for overcoming stress and anxiety. This breathing technique is also great for getting to sleep. In this 4-7-8 breathing tutorial and practice, we inhale through the nose for a count of four, retain and hold the breath for a count of seven and then exhale slowly through the mouth for a count of eight. This breathing technique can be done in cycles of 4, twice daily and/or before sleep to reduce stress and release tension.
