3 ways to celebrate Valentine's Day for Free
Welcome to Tammy Talk!
1. Make something together
My husband and I make homemade apple pie as our Valentine's Day tradition. After it cools, we have it for dinner with ice cream. We look forward to it every year because it gives us something to do and enjoy together. We collect recipes throughout the year. Last year we bought a new pie plate. This year we have an espresso machine, so we're going to add a latte to our pie and ice cream. There's no need to get dressed up, go out on such a busy evening, or spend a fortune on a fancy dinner. We hang out in our p.j.s, eat an entire pie for dinner and go to bed early.
2. Spend time in nature
We spend so much time hurrying from place to place, even if we are outside, we often don't stop and appreciate what's right in front of us. So on Valentine's day, grab your partner and take a picnic to the park, go stargazing with a bottle of wine, or take a long drive down a rural road.
3. Unplug
